FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Internationally Known Equestrian Artist Paints A Portrait of the Ultimate Horse and Rider
Rochelle, Virginia - November 28, 2018 - Gasps were heard on November 4th in Warrenton, VA, as renowned artist, Sharon Lynn Campbell, unveiled her freshly completed 54” x 60” oil painting depicting Jesus Christ riding a white horse. Titled, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, this painting has been years in the making.
“All the time and hard work were worth it. People were crying and told me the painting was so full of life and light that it was extremely moving to them,” said Campbell.
In Sept 1999, the Lord led Campbell to begin painting. With no training but listening to the Lord, she began her painting career and is now one of the most successful equestrian artists in the United States.
“I paint around the clock in order to keep up with my clients' portraits,” said Campbell who is 100% commissioned with clients worldwide consisting of Olympic horses and riders, top show horses, family pets and celebrities. In addition, every year Campbell’s artwork graces the cover of some of the nation's most prestigious horse show prize lists, programs, and posters.
Being an equestrian herself since her youth, Campbell sees how the Lord has taken her full circle with the completion of King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
“Every portrait that leaves my studio gets prayed over by myself and my husband, George. I just want to bless people with my artwork because I truly know the Lord works through me. I give Him all the glory for every piece, which over the years is too numerous to even count."
Campbell’s original paintings are all commissioned, however, due to so much interest in her painting, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, she is going to offer it as a Limited Edition giclee print. Campbell will hand sign and number 300 prints which will be printed on beautiful artist paper with archival inks which last 100 years. The prints are available at www.sharonartist.com or www.BlessedT.com.
“I love the idea of my painting of Jesus on the white horse hanging on so many walls, as a print, so it blesses so many people," said Campbell.
When asked what the future holds Campbell replied, “My vision is to build and open a spectacular gallery that will showcase God’s glory in each piece of work I complete. The gallery will also offer reproduction prints, giclees, and others specialty items.”
“My ultimate goal is to have my artwork bless as many people as possible, whether it’s through an original painting, a print or even a mug with my artwork on it. After all, it’s not about me, it’s all about Jesus.”
